transfer recorded shows and settings from one box to another

I have the Contour dvr and it is starting to act up. Every now and then I have to reboot it because it won't pause or I can't start a recording. What I would like to know is if I replace the box can Cox  transfer recorded shows and settings from my Contour box to the replacement box?
