TiVo tuning adapters aren't working

This morning, both of my TiVos had flashing amber lights on the tuning adapters.  I tried rebooting, no luck.  After awhile I called support and was sent to the cable card/tuning adapter people.  They said they had no other reports, unsuccessfully tried to send a signal, and ultimately scheduled a service call for Saturday, although I told them I thought the chances of both my tuning adapters dying simultaneously was not very high.  My other services are working.

Since then, numerous people on a TiVo forum in Orange County have reported the same thing (at least half a dozen in several different cities).  Can this please be escalated to the proper people at Cox, as this is not an isolated problem, and sending techs to our houses will be a huge waste of time?

    In Dana Point.

    Same Problem.

    Have rebooted, reset via the iPhone App and the Web, called Support (he didn't know what a Tuning Adapter was.

    Am now receiving some, but not all channels, but light is still flashing (currently 3:14PM, Wednesday)

    Having same problem here in Mission Viejo. All 3 of my Tuning Adapters flashing this morning and can't tune any SDV channels.

    I replied to your tweets, but also wanted to reach out to you here. Did the lights on the Tuning Adapters change at all when Tech Support sent signals to them?

    For what it is worth, I too am in Mission Viejo, and my tuning adapter connected to a TiVo began flashing yellow sometime early yesterday morning and unfortunately it is still offline today

    YesterdayI tried powering it off, waiing 30 seconds, and then powering it back online.  I also tried restarting the TiVo and repeating guided setup on the TiVo. These did not work, so I called tech support, but they were not able to fix the issue. Cox is sending a technician to look at it today, but I am not sure what the tech will be able to do since it looks like this might be a more widespread issue since it is not just me that is reporting the problem.

    Are all of your Tuning Adapters still flashing an amber light this morning? I've engaged our local team so we can get more eyes on this problem.

    Yes, the yellow LED is still flashing on my Tuning Adapter this morning.

    Yes, amber light still flashing on all 3 of my tuning adapters in Mission Viejo.

  • Hi Everyone,

    Our video engineers believe they've resolved the issue with the Tuning Adaptors. When you can, please check to see if all your channels are working. Let us know if your TAs are still flashing or if you are missing channels.

    Mine just came back online at about 8:23. 

    No time to check every channel right now, but I spot-checked 1207, 1244, 1310 and 1346 and all are working.
