Tivo bolt

Does the mini box work with tivo bolt?

    My understanding is that the Tivo Bolt is designed to work with CableCards. The Tivo would need a way to operate the mini-box remote if you were to try and use it that way. Tivo support might have more info there.

    no you don't need a mini box with Tivo you need a cable card and maybe a tuning adapter from Cox 

    if you just want basic channels on  a additional Tv  you can rent a mini or buy a Tivo mini and it will use a tuner from the Bolt and you will get the same channels on the mini as the bolt gets.
