the purpose of a contour mini box misunderstood...????

Please, can someone confirm the full channel lineup a "mini box" is designed to support... are we just talking the major networks here? (ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX, CW ... )  or can it also give me my AMC, SYFY, TNT, HGTV Cartoon Network... (you get the idea) ?

Also i'm not referring to stuff like BBC AMERICA or Sundance Channel OR those numerous music channels that we love so much. Those ALWAYS required the more pricier cable boxes to watch.
