Temporarily off air on SD channels and channels going off due to inactivity

Why are my SD channels like 28, 56, 57, 58, 102 and more out with this temporarily off air message? I pay for all my cable channels to be working and I am getting tired of paying for stuff that is not working half the time. From this receiver box that locks up all the time to the channels going off and giving me a message of channel off due to inactivity. That is another issue I have in that Why does a channel go out with the cox logo some bad music and a message saying it was off due to inactivity?? I am in the middle of a show when it does this and its annoying. Has cox taken on too much and cannot keep up or what??

    Hello,

    If the cable box is left on for more than 6 hours with no activity (changing channels, etc) then the box will change to that message. 

    For the missing channels: please power cycle the cable box and let us know if that helps.
