TCM channel changed

Where is TCM?  In Aliso Viejo, CA, it was channel 68, now it's gone.  Where is it?

  • TCM is on channel 28. Digital. You need a box.

  • TCM moved to channel 28/1028 of Cox Digital Essential. I apologize for all the confusion. The channel lineups should be updated today!

It's March 2, 2015 and we just found out about the TCM change today after tech service rep (sent by customer service) that 28 is only available via a box from Cox.   Hmmm . . . seems like customer service needs to add this sleight of hand change to the FAQ script when customers call looking for TCM.  While Cox was very generous in giving us a blue screen saying the old 28 (WGN) moved to 68, another "subscreen" on 68 or 28? could have mentioned that TCM is now available only in digital and customer service will be glad to assist!   Why indeed wasn't that message provided?  From a Cox shareholder's viewpoint, how are you going to increase box rental revenue unless you tell the customer (existing customers that is)?  Now, all you've done is sow another round of ill-will to your otherwise ver¥ good service.  Looks like someone dropped the ball on this one!!

Hmm...it's been listed on your online channel guide on channel 28 with a * (box needed) for more than a month now.

  • DAS Laguna,

As with all channel changes, advance notification of the change was printed on your statement in the section titled News From Cox. Notification of the change to TCM in particular was included in your December statement.

Since I have automated billing from my credit card, I got no such statement.
