SUHD Cable Box

I just purchased a Samsung 65" SUHD Curve with 4K resolution.  It appears that my current Cox cable box only supports 1080P resolution.  Does anyone know when Cox will support 4K?  If so what is the timeline and requirements to support?

Thanks

Cox can't support UHD because no TV network provides it.  TV networks only broadcast HD programming in 1080i or 720p.  Internet streaming services...such as Netflix, Hulu, Amazon...are the only sources of 1080p or UHD programs.  You could purchase a Blu-ray player and discs for UHD.

You'd get over-the-air broadcasts of UHD programming (ATSC 3) before anything from Cox.  However, you'd also need a new curved TV with a new ATSC tuner.
