static on the line
If I get a lot of static during landline phone calls, is it a Cox phone line problem, or my in home phone equipment?

We would need to test the phone line to determine if the static is caused by the telephone line or equipment. Are you using a corded or cordless device? Is the phone cord plugged directly into a wall jack?
