Been getting this error constantly for years now. I have switched two personal modems, three routers as well. Currently using Cox supplied equipment, still same error on my 6th new modem/router combo. Multiple techs have come out, last one told me to just ignore it. Problem is my connection is always being dropped. The modem/router has to be power cycled multiple times a day. Was told wiring and signals are great. If so, why the constant errors and terrible connection? I feel like Cox does not want to fix the issue and I'm stuck with this terrible service. After browsing the forums it looks like many people have the same issue with no fix?
