Setting up DV-R in advance?

Is there a way to set up the DV-R several weeks in advance? A new series will be starting while I'm on vacation in a few weeks and I'd like to record it. When I tried to use the guide to fast forward to that date, all the listings showed "no data." Is there something else I can do? Thanks in advance.

    You can only schedule 2 weeks in advance you can also use the Cox connect app with your away from home to schedule a recording please check the link http://bit.ly/2ezjLw3.

    Jonathan is right. I've been using the Cox Connect app for several years. It works great.

    Is there a way to schedule future recordings using a personal computer?

    Hi Chaloots,

    You can also schedule a recording by logging into your Cox.com account online and going to TV Tools, under My Tools. Select the option for TV Listings and then click on the show you're interested in. From there, you will receive an option to record.
