Search for movies in Contour

We recently were updated to a contour receiver from the old version. How can I search for movies or shows by title? That used to be a specific search option. The contour info claims if you press numbers corresponding to title letters it will work, but that simply doesn't work in on demand...if I press a number it offers to change me to that channel.

    Searching OnDemand on the New Contour can be accomplished two different ways. You can press the Contour button on your remote and scroll to search then press OK. From there, use the left and right arrows in conjunction with the OK button to spell out the title or keyword you are searching for. Additionally, you can configure voice commands and hold the blue microphone button to speak into the remote.
