Scheduling recordings
I can schedule Monday Night Football as a series, 60 minutes as a series and most other program as a series. Why can't I record PGA and LPGA tournaments as a series. For some reason I have to schedule each day one at a time.

Monday Night Football is actually a regular weekly series therefore the guide presents it as such. If these PGA and LPGA programs are special events and not regularly scheduled series programs the guide would not associate them.
