Scam Blocked - Behance.net

I keep receiving the following when trying to access Adobe's Behance.net website. No idea why this website is being blocked and makes no sense what so ever. I've tried to chat with Live Chat Support and no help. Currently been on hold for 30+ with Cox's network security agents. Anyone have any idea what to do? Here's what the re-directed page displays.

Dear Valued Cox Customer,

You have been taken to this page because you followed a link in a fraudulent email. This email was not from Cox Communications.

Occasionally, Cox customers receive emails masquerading as Cox Communications and requesting account information. Usually they urgently ask for you to update your billing information, and request credit card and other personal or account information.

Please understand that Cox will never request our customers' personal financial or account information via email.

Email of this type is called "phishing." These emails are illegal attempts to collect confidential information from internet users. When detected, Cox takes immediate action to insure that access to these sites is first blocked from the Cox network, and then works with hosting ISP's to terminate the accounts.

I tried from my PC and I'm able to get to the site without any problems. Are you using a link or a shortcut to access the site? Can you try manually typing the address in your browser's address bar and see if that works? I'd also try from other PC's to see if they're all doing it.

  • spinsyr,

How long has this been happening, and are you clicking a link to get to behance.net? What results when you type the address directly into the browser on all devices?

I am having this exact same issue and message from Cox!

Behance.net is a site owned by Adobe. It is also the site where my professional portfolio is stored and I am unable to access it from home (where I have Cox service). It is NOT a phishing site!

The site cannot be accessed from any device that is connected to my router thanks to Cox. It is accessible from my cell if I turn off wi-fi.

    This is very frustrating!

I am unable to access Behance.net, a legitimate website that I use daily, due to a 'Scam Blocked' page that I cannot override. I know explicitly this is an issue with my cox services as I am able to access the site fine from my work's wifi, which is another service. I cannot access the site on any device or computer connected to my cox router -- they all redirect to the page below. I have tried flushing my DNS, clearing out cookies and my web cache, restarting... nothing will allow me access to this website. I am forced into the redirected page no matter what. Extremely frustrating, please advise. I am not the only user on this forum who has reported this exact issue for that specific site.

It just started acting up yesterday, sometime in the early afternoon. I access this site routinely, so I went to the URL directly from my address bar. Now it no longer matters how I access it -- if I google behance and click the link, it still won't take me. Same with my browser's bookmark toolbar. It is the same across all devices and platforms (mac and pc)

My router also appears to be blocking ALL information from the behance -- I downloaded the iOS app onto my iPad and iPhone and it won't let any of the images load.

  • Hi Everyone,

We're investigating the difficulty accessing www.behance.net. We'll update you as soon as we have more information.
