When accessing a movie or program that has a "restart" option (start from the beginning because it's On Demand), there is an icon that has an arrow-circle in blue. Can NOT find that button anywhere on my remote and NO button makes that happen. Any ideas?? thanks jeff

Which remote and cable box do you have? I know with the older silver ones it's to the left of the "DVR List" button.

There is no Restart button on your remote. The arrow-circle in blue means Play...or, as the On Demand screen is informing you, to Resume. It's located above the Pause button. To Resume your On Demand program press either Play or Select.

Used to have the old silver one but now the latest Contour box. Not home now but will check on remote (scoured the remote several times- NO button on it!!). Even looked on-screen for that button but couldn't find it there either! thanks

Not sure if the "repeat" button is what your looking for, but if so, on the new black ones (URC 8820) it is above and a little to the right of the record button.

...if no Repeat button, it's probably the button with double arrows pointing to the left, such as to rewind while watching a program.

Nope- hit the "rewind" button- nothing happens. Hit the "fast forward"- nothing happens.

Using the Contour XG1-A receiver with an XR11-RF remote.

too bizarre.........

I'm not watching it on Demand....watching the program mid-way through.

However, just realized that maybe this is just an "indicator" that I should GO TO ON-DEMAND and start watching it from there???????

Guess that would be the only option I could come up with.....

By restart, you are referring to the Replay button for On Demand and to rewind real TV?

The blue arrow with a blue circle around it in the guide. I know how to rewind real TV and also the replay button (7 seconds).

At this point, I think that blue arrow is a "notification" that I can watch the whole program ON DEMAND but it's not an actual link that re-starts a program in progress to the beginning of the showing. True?

I guess I found my answer: select the program that has a blue arrow (with circle) and then hit "INFO" button. It will bring up the details of program, then select "on-demand" and the program re-starts from beginning ON-DEMAND!
