replying to incoming mail

When I try to reply to an e-mail, the original message is not included. I went to preferences and the box that asks to include original message when replying is checked and been ok'd...............why is the orig. message not being included ? Thanks, Michael Johnson

In Webmail, click Settings->Preferences and make sure Include Message is checked under Replying to Messages Do you want to include the original message when replying?. Don't forget to click OK at the bottom to save/confirm any settings changes.

[I did check the box and clicked the OK (which indicated preference changes were applied), but still no orig. message on reply.........just the senders e-mail address and the subject line appear............also, when trying to forward a received e-mail, there is no orig. message to forward as well. Very frustrating.

Few things we need to check further. Do you know if you're using the graphical editor by chance? Due to the age of the platform that feature is depreciated and we recommend disabling it. As for forwarding emails are you clicking the Addresses button at the top to add recipients? If so that'll actually abandon the email you're in and take you to the manage contacts function.

Not using graphics editor. Not clicking the addresses button. Also, when composing new e-mail, the "to" field does not recognize any of my saved e-mail addresses when I try to call any of them up. MJ

Being this is a webpage the To field will only recognized things your browser remembers you've typed and is not actually connected to your address book. When adding addresses to an email from your address book that should be done by clicking the "To", "Cc", "Bcc" labels.
