Removing number from interactive services call log

When I first added cox telephone for my service they gave me a temporary number until my old number was ported over. Once that process finished I see the two numbers listed in my call log on my Contour box but it comes up with a big red box telling me call logs aren't available (because the temporary number is disconnected)  I can switch over to my current number and see my logs there though.

My question is there some way to delete the old temporary number so it's not tracked by my box? I just want to see my one number there!

    Do you have a Contour or a Contour 2 box please?

    Tom,

    Thank you for that information. Please power cycle your box for two minutes and then plug it back in. This will reboot your box and may take up to ten minutes to complete. Please let us know if you are still seeing the disconnected number on your box. Thank you.

    I unplugged the box as you asked but unfortunately it didn't work, the old number is still there :(

    To reset the connection between the box and our back office please unplug the box for a full 5 minutes + and then plug it back in. Let me know what you find in the call history after the box fully re-loads.

    I had left it off overnight just to be extra sure and that didn't help so I called into support. They couldn't figure it out either and eventually got me connected with a back office support tech who finally got it resolved. He had never seen a case like that before. Very weird!
