not responding to box

    Is it a new box?  If it won't even turn on your cable box with new batteries, I wouldn't hesitate to exchange it.

    Hi CA,

    Usually it's the box that isn't responding to the remote control. Press the Cable button on the remote. Does the button light up when you press it?
