Lots of complaints about a new $6 surcharge for sports programming that customers did not agree to pay. And now I suddenly have the surcharge, but I never watch any sports channels so why is this unwarranted fee being levied.
Seems Cox has locked out customers from continuing to add complaints to those two prior threads.

you more than likely were paying it although it might have been included in the toltal price, but I have noticed most if not all cox areas are itemizing the bills for each charge like a couple months to a year ago Omaha added a $3 broadcast fee, but the other package price was reduced by $3.

it's not more money, but a change to what you pay I noticed the basic tier went down the same price as the new fee, so no increase
What is this "regional sports surcharge" about? I don't view sports, even the Olympics at all!

Called their reps and they basically admit its a backdoor way to charge their customers more money. athe rep said the fee is here to stay and there is nothing customer can do.
One of the worst company I ever dealt with.
