Recording shows that are repeats

We just updated to the contour 2 and there appears to be a bug. We have all of our series set to record new only, however on some of its recording ones that are not new. I noticed that the ones that are working correctly are set as new and repeats. The shows that are not, the reruns address not set as repeats. It seems to would be only recordings ones marked at new but the logic seems to be, record unless marked as repeat. How can this be fixed. It is extremely annoying.

    Please confirm the title and the recording options to which you are referring. Also, please set the outcome you are trying to accomplish and the outcome you are getting.
