recorded shows

I have a show that I record the series, It is scheduled every Sunday, Wednesday and Thursday. Just recently Thursdays show will not record. When I view this on the guide I do not see the usually recorded red dot but instead there is a arrow (> watch show). Why is this happening and how can I correct this? When I view the guide I then can record that show as a one time but this should not be happening.

    When you check the guide, does it show that the program on Thursday is new? Do you also have the series records to record every episode, new or repeat, as well as any day also? Please try cancelling the series & then adding the series again to see if that will correct the Thursday recording.
