Record 6 is not recording my shows.

I keep getting errors when my shows are supposed to be recording.  Whats the deal?

Is there something I can change or reset.??

Ive tried deleting the recording and adding it back / selecting record series and all shows

dvr errors not recording

    By chance do you have the error messages you're getting?  Perhaps there are some clues there as to what is going on.  It may be also helpful to try resetting the box if you haven't already.  That can be done by disconnecting power for two minutes and reconnecting.

    On most of the recordings it shows "recording failed because the program was not found in the guide"

    but I happened to be home and checked the channel during the time slot and the program was there. Even showed on the guide as "recording"

    i will try resetting the box again

    also.... The other error I was getting was "recording failed because we experienced some technical difficulties"

    Hi danman, did you happen to notice if the error messages were accompanied by an error code number?

    I don't see any error numbers on any of the missed recordings

    I'd suggest at this point trying to remove the scheduled recording, disconnecting power from the box for two minutes, reconnecting power, then re-adding the recording to see if resetting the box and the scheduled recording helps any.
