Recommendation for upgrading router to "n: type

I have a Cisco DPQ3212 DOCSIS 3.0 modem connected to a Linksys WRT 5462 "g" type router using Cox High Speed Internet Premier. I'm getting 20.76 Mbps download and 11.74 Mbps upload speeds. I want to replace the router with an "n" type to increase speed and extend range inside my house. Any recommendations for reliable, compatible router to buy?

The ASUS RT-N66U is a good choice for wireless n.  Wireless n will get you a speed increase but still not use what you are paying for with Premier.  In practice, n will get you 40 to 80Mbps, about half what you are paying for, wired you will get full Premier speed.  If you want to go over the 100Mbps mark, you need wireless ac and a comparable client.  Netgear Nighthawk and ASUS are good choices for wireless ac.
