Problems importing contacts into Enhanced WebMail

Steps:

1. From my GMail account, export my contacts in both VCF and Outlook CSV formats.

1. In Enhanced WebMail, open up Contacts window and click Advanced button.

2. Click Import Contacts button at bottom.

3. Select Microsoft Outlook, browse for my contacts.csv file, and click Next.

Result:  Error dialog pops up saying: "You did not upload any file. Please click on Browse to choose a file on your computer."

4. Tried selecting vCard and browsing for my contacts.vcf file, and clicked Next.

Same result. "You did not upload any file. Please click on Browse to choose a file on your computer."

Please fix.

Just tried it too with Enhanced webmail, doesn't seam to upload the file.  It does work with classic webmail.  In classic, click the Addresses button then Import.  It will ask you to select the time ... browse and select the contacts.csv file.  Only thing it doesn't give you a chance to review prior to import ... just imports directly to your Cox address book.  HTH.

Update: I spoke to soon.  Yes, classic webmail does import contacts but ... they don't show up in Enhanced webmail.  I did the import in classic, logged off, logged back on to Enhance webmail and none of the imported contacts appeared.  Logged off again then back on to Classic, the imported contacts are there.  It appears Cox has two different contact files, 1 for Enhanced and a 2nd for Classic.  Do they sync in the background or in an overnight process?  Can a Cox Mod comment on this, please.

Update 2: must be 2 different files, tried creating a contact in Enhanced, did not carryover to Classic.  Another reason for using a client and not using webmail.

Next day and still no sync.  Must be two different address books.  Mods, comments please.

Thanks for double checking, AllenP.  Yes, I also tried Classic WebMail, imported successfully, but the contacts did not show up in Enhanced WebMail.

Using WebMail because the Outlook trial license that came with my laptop expired, and I didn't want to pay the $$$.  Any suggestions for a free mail client?

    Thanks again.

1, browse to csv file, same csv file successfully imported to classic webmail:

You're very welcome, SfseaMentor.  I use Thunderbird from Mozilla.  I've used it for Cox POP3 mail and now converted most of my clients to IMAP.  Works great for both.  Started with it on XP, had it running on Win 8 and now Win 10, no issues.  I have Tbird setup on both my laptop and desktop, using IMAP,  it shares the accounts with my iPad running stock mail and my Android phone running K9 mail ... all stay in sync.  No issues.  HTH

Just one note, I use Google Contacts which I share between my phone and iPad, also, there is an addin to Tbird which allows me to share them with Thunderbird too.  One set of contacts, change on any device and they sync with the others.
