Problem with the signal on this channel. Trying again. (V53)

I am a new customer. Just moved into the area from a part of the country where I could only get Comcast. Setup my Tivo, get many channels, but not all of them. So I pulled up my account to see what I should be getting and sure enough I am missing some channels (like DisneyXD, NickJr. etc. yes I have kids.)

I contacted support and they told me to call the cable card department, but I ran across another post on here that had the exact same error on Tivo "Problem with the signal on this channel. Trying again. (V53)" and there was some magic that happened in the bowels of Cox that no one described.
