POWER SAVING

There are no options to turn off the screen saver at this time. I can submit a new feature request to remove this option in the future. In which city and state do you live?

I just noticed today that there is an option to disable the box from turning itself off.  However the screen saver option does not have an off switch.  My box just recently started turning itself off when I'm gone.

This has been bugging me lately as well.  I turned the feature off now I'll wait and see if it actually works.

Dear Stephanie, this is Jerry May, N5cev, and thank you for your reply. Yes the power saving feature is admirable, but the power it saves is not worth the aggrevation it causes. I see no way on my contour remote to bring up any option of any kind. l live in Denham Springs, Louisiana and receive service out of Baton Rouge. Again, thank you for your reply. Hello Jerry May.  I'm not sure if we have the exact same setup.  But on my remote I have to click "Contour", scroll over to the gear setting on the far right.  Go to "Device Settings", "Power Preferences", and then "Power Saver Starts After :"  and choose "Off" if it is available.

Hello StephanieS.  Yes it worked for me.  I came home tonight and the box was still on!

Also sorry Jerry May for partially interrupting your thread!  Hopefully the advice I gave you works.  If not then hopefully Stephanie can help you out!

You can access the Box settings menu by pressing the Contour button and then selecting the icon on the far right of the screen.
