Port Forwarding Issues

Hi! So I'm trying to port forward to open up a server, but the ports are not being open and I'm not too sure what the issue is and was wondering if it wasn't just on my end. I port forward all the time, and when I went home recently I was able to port forward there with no issues. When I returned to my apartment I took the same steps as I always do, but had not success.

I have a Netgear Router that is connected to an Arris Surfboard modem. I chose my personal address when port forwarding and forwarded both TCP and UDP ranges.

First of all, make sure what you're trying to use isn't on the following list:

The requirements for this to work will vary from one router manufacturer to another so we would not be of assistance. You could reach out to Netgear or see if any other forums members have suggestions as to what could be going on.
