I do not want to see Hilary Clinton political ads on my sign on page to my Cox Account.

  • The ad content that you see within Cox Webmail is paid advertising space. Ads within Webmail are not endorsements for a specific product or political party.

Why is there paid advertisements on a web page for paying customers? Also, why is this the first political ad on the site I have ever seen? Cox has put malware and ads to sell "Secret Belly removing tricks" on their front page before. IMO they do not care what their customers are exposed to as long as Cox gets it's 20 silver pieces. Kind of glad I am moving to FIOS only area next month. Cox is not the company I used to work for anymore. RIP

PS. Make sure Cox doesn't get money from you. Block the ads, use Adblock.  While your at it don't use their DNS either... they get money for that too.

I understand China's state-run ISP's regulate web content. Specifically political content. Other countries do this as well. You could try moving to one of them to see if it eases your sensibilities to being exposed to other points of view. Kinda like what Fox News does for some folks here.

Monitoring the ad space on your website for malware and inappropriate advertisements isn't censorship, it's common decency. If the ad was on purpose (which I kind of doubt because Cox leans right) I have no problem with it. If it was by accident, like other ads have been, then I am against it.  Oh, and telling someone to leave the country just because you disagree with them is ignorant IMO. Try talking and thinking more, and judging less.

Space is money and Cox email is a free service.

What a difference two weeks makes.

Did nothing of the kind. Merely proffered a possible solution to OP's problem.

Try actually comprehending the posts and typing less. As they say, reading is fundamental.

Making money off customers and not spending money on customers are separate things. I could say more but you are not worth my time.  I don't talk to trolls, only light them on fire.

Then you should get Adblock, and rid yourself of ads forever :P

We pay for internet service that includes webmail. Why are we paying to see ads?

I guess that is one reason I never use Cox webmail.
