Phoenix, AZ, 1069 - NBCSN the Audio is not in Sync with the Video

For the last couple of days, at least, the Audio is not in Sync with the Video

Chandler Headend, Phoenix, AZ, 1069 - NBC Sports Network

Please have a Video engineer look into the issue.

PS - Only the Cox inserted commercials are in sync, everything else is out of sync.

  • Becky,

Thank You 1069 - NBCSN is back in Sync.

Cox still has an issue with the SD Channel, 69-NBCSN, this channel is not properly Mapped to Retail CableCARDs

  • SD Channel 69 - NBCSN is now properly Mapped, FIXED...
    Thanks, Becky

  • Hi Bryan,

I'm sorry that I missed your post yesterday, but I'm glad to hear that channel 1069 is back in sync. I know how distracting it can be to watch a show that way! Are you getting an error message on channel 69? Does your TiVo provide an error number or any details for channel 69? Sometimes these can be helpful to our video engineers.

The TiVo Message is just "Searching for signal on this channel. (V52)" a very generic message that could mean anything.

But that does not really tell the story.  The details are in the TiVo and Tuning Adapter Diagnostic Menus.

    1) The TiVo cannot lock a signal and defaults to 999MHz, which is a default value for no mapping info.

    2) The TA also indicates it is a Linear (Broadcast) channel @ 999MHz which is not correct, this is probably a default value also, when no channel mapping is available.

  • That's great news, Bryan! Thanks for the update. It sounds like it was an easy fix for the MTC once we brought it to their attention.
