Pay to watch DVR recordings?

I recorded all the episodes of Star Trek the Original Series a week or so ago when it aired on BBC America. I set the DVR to save them for one year. Now when I try to watch some of the episodes ( the earliest ones) it says I have to pay $2.99 to watch them, even some I already watched for free. What gives? Why am I being charged to watch TV I already payed for and saved? I'm dumping COX if this is the kind of ** I can expect with your DVR service.

    can you post a pic or exactly what the screen said that sounds strange.  also did you remove the dvr from your account on accident?
