Outlook 2010

Have changed password in cox. net and have access to everything except getting e-mails in Outlook.  I know the new password works sense I have used it to access on webmail.  Everytime I go into Outlook it keeps asking me to update my password which I have been doing but it won't take.  What the H   is up

    I looked at your account and it appears we detected an attempt to reset your password back to a previous one which caused your account to be locked again. You'll need to reset your password again making sure you use a new password that you haven't used before and hasn't been used anywhere else.
