outgoing mail
I can type address and reference into outgoing email, but my email will not accept any entry into the box in which text is ordinarily typed. All I can get on the text screen is a small vertical blue line. No entry is permitted

I'm not quite sure I understand the problem as it's described. Can you tell us more about what you're trying to solve and maybe where you're going or what programs you're using?
