Outgoing email Cox server shows offline.

First all of a sudden my password was no good. Tech Support solved that but ever since I have not been able to send email on the Cox Server from my IMAC desktop. I receive emails fine. My iPhone and iPad are connected on the same WIFI network and I can send and receive emails fine on both of those devices. This has been going on for 3 days now and only help is are your settings correct. They are. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

    To clarify did you update the password on the IMAC after you spoke with tech support ? Thanks
