I had Internet Premier at my old address for $64.99 per month. I moved house and the old service expired so I called Cox to start new service and my new address. Everything went perfectly and I was offered Internet Premier at a discounted rate of $49.99. I thought fantastic and re-confirmed the price multiple times with the agent. Service went live that day.
Roll on nearly 2 months and Cox are now demanding $87.99 per month. I've spoken to multiple supervisors, some of whom have lodged a ticket with the back office to pull the call to listen to what was said. A retentions supervisor has now told me that even when the call does get pulled it won't help my situation as the agent will just get a slap on the wrists and I'll be stuck with the same bill.
I've told them that unless I'm billed what was agreed they can cancel the service and I will pay nothing.
This all seems ludicrous to me that I'm not being charged what was agreed.
Are there any other options here?
