On Demand Movie Stopped

My movie stopped midway through (NOT THE FIRST TIME) and won't turn back on and my on demand selections rarely work.  I get messages saying that THE show won't play without an explanation or they quit!  DO NOT ASK ME IF IV'E RESTARTED, THE WHOLE WORLD KNOWS TO RESTART BEFORE GETTING ON THESE FORUMS
