occasional packet drops/timeouts
I recently signed up for internet service with Cox. I work from home and need a reliable connection. Occasionally my VPN connection to work (ip 38.104.42.94) drops out, seems to be due to packet losses. I see sporadic timeouts with ping:

I am not a networking expert, but seems like data gets lost somewhereinside cogentco servers. Is there anything that can be done about this? Makes work nearly impossible for me, I may have to cancel my cox account if the issue can't be solved.
