Not obtaining new Premier download speed of 150Mbps
I have bypassed my router with the Ethernet cable. Both my PC and modem indicate a 1 Gbps full-duplex connection between the modem and PC. Both PC and Modem have rebooted. The modem signal and S/N levels look nominal in my Cisco DPQ3212 DOCSIS 3.0 modem. I see 8x4 channel bonding.
However, I'm only getting around 90Mbps down, when the Premier service is now rated up to 150Mbps. A DOCSIS 3.0 modem with 8x4 channel bonding should handle 150Mbps down.
Provisioning issue?
The problem turns out to be my PC. A newer PC had no problem reaching the top rated download speed. It also revealed an issue with the firmware in my router. Now, I've got to figure out what's limiting the speed on my PC. The Ethernet interface shows 1.0Gbps , full-duplex and is running on the latest driver.
