The only times I've lost internet were at the No ranging response received messages that cause my modem to reset itself.

And here is a slice of my event log with mac addresses censored:

I'm having the same trouble with multiple "Received Response to Broadcast Maintenance Request, But no Unicast Maintenance opportunities received" T4 time outs that reset my modem daily.

I have a Netgear cable modem/wireless router I actually bought from Cox.

The info I've found on the Internet various support forums points in a few different directions and I don't think I should have to start throwing money in every direction to fix this very annoying problem.

Thanks in advance for any help anybody can offer...

I bypassed all of those and received the same errors, a tech told me to purchase a new modem and I've already received the same errors on the new one; I have another tech coming this morning.

The tech did an ingress test and it seems the arizona heat is causing problems with my line, a new one is being put in on monday morning.
