New webmail changes that I've noticed

I get my email to my desktop ( iMapp on Apple Mail using the latest Safari)).  I check it often.  In the old days (when webmail was called Webtop), I would go to webmail once a month and all of that month's emails were there.  Even if I had deleted them on my desktop.  Any emails I sent from the desktop would not show up as SENT in the webmail.  Here is my problem.  When I go to webmail with the new system, I only have today's emails in the Inbox. Occasionally there are all emails from today and yesterday.   Not emails from last week or more.   Second change:  emails I sent from the desktop now show up as SENT on webmail; which is ok but it's different from before.  When I go to TRASH in webmail, I have duplicates of all emails I have deleted.  This doesn't happen every day; but it happens often.  Also,  the "count" that shows up when I hover my cursor over the INBOX is often incorrect: today it says Total: 0. Unread: 1.  even though I am looking at 2 new unread emails in my inbox.  I wondered if anyone else is seeing their inbox emails being deleted automatically after 1-2 days?   All of my systems and equipment are up-to-date.  Everything working great; but webmail is a bit buggy.

I went back today to check on my webmail.  Only today's emails are in the Inbox.  Nothing from yesterday.  Trash had no duplicates but Trash takes a long time to load while the inbox loads quickly.

Tiffany,  thanks for your reply.  today I went on webmail and my inbox had all 8 emails that I received this afternoon.  None of this mornings emails were there.   Is appsuite still being tinkered with?

    yak,

I apologize for the delay. Most of the known issues with webmail have been resolved. Have you checked the option in the email client to make sure it leaves a copy of the email on the server?

Steph,  thanks for the reply.  no, I didn't see that option anywhere on my brand new iMac "leave a copy on the server" so I didn't check it.   But things are changing.  I no longer get the Sent IMAP emails on webmail. ( as I said, that was a tiny tiny problem).   I no longer get duplicates of every email in TRASH.   but my inbox has a Auto Delete function. (nothing that I can control) because I am lucky if I can see all of today's emails in the inbox.   I used to clean out my webmail inbox every week or month.  now it cleans itself.   I hope that the recent email problems are 'job security" for you and the other moderators.  it is a pain to respond to every single unhappy forum visitor; but maybe they will give you a title like King Of The Forum and you will be paid a fortune.

  •   I have most of the same issues.

I also wish that had issued prior notice of coming changes.  Like address is no longer webmail but

      myemail....
