New Panoramic router/modem and my pings go from 21 up to 50 and my speeds are slow as heck

I have been a cox customer for a year or so and have been paying for and receiving 150-190mbps down consistently Very happy until recently my wifi would keep dropping.

Cox swapped me out my dual band router for the new panoramic model and my service went to ***. pings tripled and my speed dropped to crawling..

What to do?
