If I checkbox an email and delete it, the new email page then puts a check on another remaining email. This wrong and dangerous, as I didn't necessarily intend to do anything with the next email and could accidentally delete it. I hope this can be changed soon.

Are you paying COMPETENT American technicians to set up & work on this fiasco, or are they all foreign poseurs who CLAIM to know what they're doing, when they really DON'T???
