New Contour User With Questions

Contour Record 6 DVR installed last week (2 boxes).

1) Where are the recorded shows and the recording schedules stored? Should either of the boxes need to be replaced, do we lose the recordings and schedules?

2) Is there a way in which to identify who scheduled a particular recording? I have my boxes indicated as living room and bedroom. Can these indicators be seen on recorded shows or in the scheduled list.  If this is not a feature, it should become one.

3) I cannot find how to use and operate "favorite channels." The old system had a "FAVS" button on the remote. Has this been lost in Contour?

    1)Please push the contour button, then select saved to find your recorded shows and the schedule recordings. Your recordings will not be saved if the boxes are replaced because it's saved on the hard drive of the receiver.

    2)There is not currently a way to identify who scheduled a particular recording. This indicator cannot be seen on the recorded shows or scheduled list. Your feed back will be forwarded appropriately.

    3)To select your favorite channels:
    a. Press the guide button on your remote
    b.Press the left arrow over to your channel and press the select button
    c. Press the right arrow to select favorite at the bottom of the screen
    This channel will appear in your favorites. You can then push the guide button twice on your remote to find the Favorite channels you setup through your guide.
