New Contour 2 boxes

Is the infrared (IR) turn on for the new contour 2 cisco model 9865HDC?

    If you are referring to the IR Port on the back of the 9865HDC receiver, the answer is yes. What model remote control are you using? The Contour 2 XR11 Voice Remote has auto-IR programming for the TV when connected via HDMI.
