Hello lbeberdick,
No, you do not have to replace your router when your new phone modem is installed. You can have your current wireless modem and a separate phone modem at the same time. However, if you prefer to only have 1 piece of equipment instead of 2, you can rent a wireless telephone modem from us. Rental fees vary depending on whether you would like a single band or dual band wireless telephone modem.
