Netgear CM1000 cable modem security vulnerability

Same problem as posted here:

"Netgear CM600 cable modem security vulnerability"

Netgear says the vulnerability is present in the CM1000 and the CM600 as well as many other Netgear Modems,Gateways, and Routers.

Has Cox recieved the firmware updates from Netgear????

    Until such time any updates are evaluated and approved for use with our network you can change the default password on the modem to mitigate any potential for compromise.
