I'd like to help. Have you already unplugged power to the receiver?

Yes I have tried to unplug and the remote reset. The problem remains. I just did the on-line chat and they want me to swap out the Contour box. I have had playback issues on recorded shows with this Contour box with freeze ups and poor picture quality. Maybe it is time to swap out. If you have another thought, let me know. I hate to turn it in with all the recorded shows and lose those.
- DerrickWValued ContributorIt sounds like the issue could be with the box if it is playback issues on all recorded shows. Swapping out the box may be the best way to resolve the problem, if you're using our Contour 2 service we'll need to schedule a tech to come out and swap the cable box.

One day after the chat with a Cox representative, the box recovered. Thanks. I think there was another remote reset that finally fixed it.
