I have a 3000D Netgear it's used and/or refurbished the wireless connection drops off intermittently, i would like to exchange it for the Motorola. Can i simply return it and request a replacement ?

If it's a rental if can be swapped at any time as necessary. Purchases are warrantied 2 years from the date of purchase.
