modem issues

why on my cox pg my modem says rgn6250 when its a c6250

    Hi David, where are you seeing that information in regards to your modem? Are you logged into your account online? I can pull up the account, but it sounds like you may have purchased your modem on your own which in that case the R would stand for "retail" because it wasn't one of ours. I hope this information helps!
