MLB TV and Cox

I attempted to follow the instructions for tying MLB with Cox

1. Visit https://secure.mlb.com/tv/activate/ and select Cox Communications as the provider.

2. Login using your Cox credentials.

3. Link the Cox credentials with the new or existing MLB.com account.

But get the following message 

Authorization service was not able to complete authorization at this time. Please contact your pay TV provider.

    Hi Toppcatt,

    Do you subscribe to the MLB Extra Innings PPV Sports Package?

    Not at this time.  I subscribed last year and all the Nationals and Orioles games were blacked out.  Is there a way to watch the games on my phone?  Do I need an MLB subscription with my Cox account?  I only want watch MASN.

    you need to pay for the MLB package MLB handles blackout rules not Cox so you need to go through them
