does MLB extra innings fallow the same rules as MLB.tv

  • Hi JohnCH,

Are you referring to blackout rules? If you live in a zip code area that falls within an MLB team's home television territory, that team's games will be blacked-out from MLB EXTRA INNINGS. These games will generally be available on a local or regional sports network, or team-affiliated OTA station. The MLB Blackout Tool is available at http://mlb.mlb.com/mlb/subscriptions/index.jsp#blackout.

The MLB EXTRA INNINGS "Frequently Asked Questions" page contains a lot of good information. Go to http://indemand.com/sports/mlb/ and scroll to the bottom of the page. Does this help?

On Cox in Arkansas and Oklahoma, nearly every Royals telecast is available, on the following channels: Arkansas channels 78/HD 2078; Oklahoma City channel 77; Tulsa channels 334/HD 1334). On many other cable providers in Arkansas and Oklahoma, fans can watch select Royals games on an alternate channel, which in some areas is labeled FOX Sports Southwest Plus (The schedule of games available in Arkansas and Oklahoma on FOX Sports Southwest Plus will be available in March). On DirecTV (channel 671-5) and Dish Network (sports alternate channel 440-455 or Hopper 412), fans in Arkansas and Oklahoma can watch all games televised by FOX Sports Kansas City by subscribing to the SportsPack on DirecTV or the Multi-Sport package on Dish. On AT&T U-verse (channels 750 and 1750), fans in Arkansas and Oklahoma can watch all games televised by FOX Sports Kansas City by subscribing to the HD Premium Tier.
