missing emails
is cox deleting old email without notifying its customers. all my emails dated 3/09/17 and beyond are missing.has this happen to anybody else

The first thing I usually suspect in this situation is that the message aren't deleted but were possibly downloaded by an email client. Did you recently setup a new device to access your email or perhaps turn on an older device that you haven't used in a while?
no new setups,but an old kindle fire was turned on. no missing email found on kindle

Thank you for the information. If you log into the Cox Webmail (http://webmail.cox.net), are you able to see your emails there?
My emails also are missing on my webmail. All emails from yesterday and prior are missing.

Did you recently use an email client such as Outlook Express, Windows Live Mail, Outlook, etc. to access your email? I see a lot of POP3 activity on your account which by default deletes the contents of webmail when used.
My emails from 03/15, 03/16 and 03/17 are also missing. I have checked the webmail at Cox.net, and it's not there too. We haven't used any new device , or did anything differently.
